EastEnders serves up more almighty twists and shocks in another unmissable week for the BBC One soap, as confirmed in Metro’s new pictures gallery.
Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) struggles to come to terms with Nadine Keller’s (Jazzy Phoenix) revelation that she’s pregnant with his baby and therefore considers dropping out of the London Marathon, which he’s been training for for months.
Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton), however, is quick to talk him around and, afterwards, Jay starts to question Nadine about the pregnancy, with an argument breaking out between the two.
As they make amends, Nadine reveals she’s expecting a baby girl, with Jay promising to be there for her and their unborn baby. But as he grows excited, Nadine can’t help but feel guilty.
The question here of course is: why is she feeling guilt? Is she not being as honest as she’s making out?
And speaking of liars, Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) gets in touch with daughter Jade Masood (Elizabeth Green), begging her to come visit him in prison.
The Slaters, who have been nothing but supportive towards Jade following Dean’s incarceration, aren’t convinced that seeing Dean is a good idea, with Jade agreeing, attempting instead to focus on her leaving party as she prepares to leave for Pakistan.
.
Will Jade believe his lies?
Elsewhere, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) and Zack Hudson (James Farrar) are stunned to discover that Britney (Lola Campbell) has Type 2 Usher Syndrome, with doctors informing them that the condition will lead to sight and hearing impairments.

Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa), meanwhile, insists that Whitney come clean to Zack about Britney’s fostering, with Zack overhearing their conversation and demanding the truth.
Whitney covers, lying yet again to her beau, which leaves Lauren seething.
It’s going to be a big week in the Square!
