The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may regret trying.

To make an underhanded move against Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). 

Lily’s new plot could backfire, so let’s talk about the potential for a huge corporate shakeup.

In the May 20 episode, Lily will talk to Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) about her plan to dupe Billy into thinking.

She wants to run Chancellor with him if they end the merger with Winters.

If Lily can pull that off, she’ll move forward with bailing on Chancellor so she can join Devon and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) in preserving their own family legacy.

In other words, Lily’s going to make promises she has no intention of keeping to push the merger dissolution.

This is just about Lily selling a bogus pitch and then abandoning Chancellor for Winters once it’s a separate entity again.

However, Billy and Jill weren’t born yesterday, so they may see right through Lily’s scheme.

Once Lily reveals her proposal, Jill and Billy may spin things around on her by keeping the merger in place and plotting to push Lily out!

As luck would have it, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may be out of a job soon.

There’s a good chance Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are going to fire Kyle over his constant insubordination in the COO role.

Billy might come along and tempt Kyle with a CEO offer at Chancellor-Winters next.

Since Jill is taking a step back and Billy isn’t interested in the day-to-day CEO duties, he might need a replacement for sneaky Lily once he realizes what she’s up to.

Our Y&R predictions point to more scheming happening at Chancellor-Winters, so that could lead to terrible news for Lily.

Will Lily’s plot blow up in her face and leave her without a position at all?
