The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, May 20, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was skeptical about John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Respecting Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wishes when it came to staying away from Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

Liam also admitted he had concerns about Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) since she was at least considering the idea that Sheila had changed, so Steffy was furious.

Once Liam explained Hope’s recent hints about staying open-minded, Steffy thought back to the clues Hope had dropped about not discarding Finn’s feelings.

If Hope wanted to be on “Team Sheila,” then Steffy warned she’d better not go leading Steffy down the wrong path!

In fact, Steffy thought Hope needed to stay away from Finn altogether if she was going to buy into this idea of Sheila being new and improved.

At Il Giardino on Monday’s B&B episode, Sheila expressed doubt about Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) plan to make Hope her maid of honor and Finn his best man.

After Steffy’s latest visit, Sheila assumed Finn’s wife would stand in the way of him attending the wedding, but she still had total faith in the bond she’d formed with her son.

Sheila made a prediction that no one would destroy the happy little life she was creating – especially someone like Steffy Forrester!

In Finn’s office at the hospital, he admitted to Hope that part of him wanted to support Sheila at the wedding, but his commitment was to Steffy first and foremost.

Hope was impressed over that commitment, but she confessed that she was leaning toward going to the ceremony and being there for Deacon.

Although Finn understood Hope’s desire to do that, he also pointed out that Sheila wasn’t some suburban soccer mom.

If Hope went to the wedding, then she’d be supporting Deacon’s marriage to Sheila Carter.

Hope suggested that she just wanted Deacon to be happy and said love was love.

After Hope grimaced and admitted to having some headaches lately, Finn asked her to elaborate on what they were like and found out she was thinking of trying acupuncture.

Finn asked if Hope trusted him since he’d been told that his hands worked wonders.

Hope assured Finn that she trusted him, so he massaged her head and shoulders to relieve some of the tension.

Once Finn was done, Hope admitted her head felt better.

Finn offered advice on ways to reduce stress – including letting Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and all that drama go.

After Finn said that Hope was beautiful and kind, he added that she fought to make a difference in people’s lives and had a smile that lit up the world.

Although Finn knew he was a hypocrite for judging Thomas while accepting that Sheila had changed, he still thought Hope deserved better.

When Hope least expected it, Finn thought the right guy would come along – and he felt any man would be lucky to have her.
