Danger is looming on Coronation Street for Toyah Battersby as she’s rushed to hospital next week.

The Weatherfield favourite played by Georgia Taylor has launched a crusade against the Institute led by a troublesome Rowan Cunliffe (Emrhys Cooper), the latter of which took in Toyah’s sister Leanne (Jane Danson).

Sensing that her sister was being taken advantage of, Toyah has raised many red flags to her attention but her warnings have gone completely unheard and she landed in legal trouble as the Institute struck back with an injunction, leaving her with a whopping £15,000 debt to pay for her court fees.
