EastEnders is lining up explosive scenes next week with a slew of dramatic storylines.
Spoilers for next week have revealed that one young resident’s life is seemingly changed forever with their family left devastated. Meanwhile on the BBC One soap, a new romance is teased between two characters, which is sure to cause a family feud.

Family’s life-changing news
The BBC soap will air some huge scenes in the coming days, with spoilers revealing one young resident is rushed to hospital. During a boxing tournament, Nugget Gulati collapses after using the steroids and it looks like things might be changed for the rest of his life.

When he collapses he’s taken to hospital and there are real fears for Nugget when the doctors reveal that his kidneys aren’t working properly. The doctor suggests he could be taking drugs but his family refutes it – not knowing the truth.
Ravi Gulati takes the doctor aside to share Zack Hudson’s suspicions about the steroids before the medical staff later confirm that Nugget has been taking steroids. The doctors later suggest the idea of long-term dialysis as Nugget’s kidneys are still struggling. Pressure continues to mount on who supplied the drugs as the police and doctors get involved – but will the truth be revealed?
New romance twist
There is a real feud likely to be brewing between the Mitchells as new arrival Teddy – the secret son of Stevie Mitchell and brother of Billy Mitchell – sets his sights on Sharon Watts. It’s clear things are heating up between the pair, but with unfinished business between exes Phil and Sharon, will this new romance cause a split in the Mitchell family?
Maya Houssain exposed
The truth about Maya Houssain looks set to be revealed and after she and Harvey Monroe are caught by Freddie Slater in a clandestine meeting, he tells Jean Slater he’s worried that they’re having an affair. Harvey soon realises – through a dropped letter – that Maya is lying about what part of London she lives in, and he heads over there.
