1. Toyah fears Leanne is recruiting Amy

With the recent news that Leanne has been promoted to ‘Level 5’ status within The Institute, Toyah has grown increasingly worried about Rowan’s hold over her sister.
When Toyah spots Leanne showing Amy an Institute video to help relieve stress, she’s concerned to discover that Amy is considering investing in the sinister cult.
2. Toyah is rushed to hospital

Toyah begins suffering from pains in her stomach and confides in Nick. When he returns from work, he’s shocked to find Toyah in agony on the floor and rushes her to hospital.
At the hospital, Nick and Leanne wait at Toyah’s bedside as the doctor reveals some shocking news.
Later, Toyah is still processing her news when the doctor reveals another bombshell.
3. Kit tells the truth

With Gemma and Paul still in the dark about their secret brother, Bernie organises a meeting with Kit to discuss how they’ll break the news.
Bernie is oblivious as Kit decides to take the matter into his own hands and visits the flat in order to tell Gemma and Paul. How will they react?
4. Bernie struggles to keep her family together

In the aftermath of Kit’s confession, Bernie is feeling low and confides in Dev about her struggle to bring the whole family together.
Meanwhile, Beth flirts with Kit but receives a shock when Kit explains his links to Bernie and Gemma.
Later, Gemma tells Bernie that she and Paul are buying a wreath for Kit’s other mum. On Dev’s advice, Bernie decides to send her own flowers as a gesture.
5. Sarah is questioned by DS Swain

Sarah receives a heads-up from Kit that DS Swain has realised Nathan received money in order to drop the case against his attacker. DS Swain suspects Sarah’s involvement and brings her in for questioning.
Sarah struggles to keep her cool when Swain directly asks her for the identity of Nathan’s attacker and if she paid £10,000 to buy Nathan’s silence. Will Sarah crack under pressure?
6. Steve gets revenge on Tommy

Steve is disappointed when he discovers that Tim was not planning a surprise party for his 50th birthday after all. Worse still, he’s gutted to discover Tim bailed on him in order to attend the unveiling of Tommy Orpington’s bronze bust at the Weatherfield County ground.
Egged on by Cassie, the duo decide to head to the party to confront Tim and while they’re there, concoct a plan to get revenge on Tommy at the same time.
7. Steve covers his tracks

Following the party, Steve realises he may have gone too far and enlists Tim’s help to cover his tracks before he’s caught out.
However, it’s not long before Debbie catches them in the act and Steve is left with some explaining to do.
8. Roy is still in a rut

Despite being cleared of all wrongdoing in Lauren’s murder investigation, Roy has sunk into a depression since his release, unwilling to leave the flat.
Concerned, Yasmeen, Nina and Shona come up with a plan to help Roy get back to his old self.
Nina lies to Evelyn that Shona has called in sick, hoping it will prompt Roy to return to the café. When Nina sets off the fire alarm and proves that she can’t cope without him, Roy braves the world and gets back to work.
9. Betsy faces trouble with Carla

On her first day of work experience at Underworld, Betsy wastes no time in impressing Carla and Fiz with her machining skills.
Unfortunately, things turn sour when Carla catches Betsy texting and confiscates her phone.
10. Bethany tries to uncover the truth

A cloud of suspicion still hangs over Bethany after accusations from her former employers that she stole her company’s credit card and racked up charges.
When she receives the credit card statement, Bethany and Shona look for clues that could point towards the true culprit’s identity.
Shona points out a supermarket transaction and suggests that it may have been a ‘click and collect’ situation. Bethany decides to call the supermarket for CCTV footage to clear her name.
11. Michael shares some news with George

With tensions still high between George and Glenda, George has a chat with Michael in the hope that he can help smooth things over between them.
However, George is saddened to learn from Michael that his romance with Glenda has ended already due to Michael’s misgivings over her recent behaviour.
